First meeting conducted is a great opportunity to describe your current situation, your concerns and worries. After the initial talk it is possible to identify your needs and explain the practise, as well the possibilities for treatment.
The diagnosis during the first meetings is nothing else but broader understanding of the specification of your problem. This is done through interview, and could also be done by completing and analysing psychological questionnaire.
As part of my practise I accept adults and children.
The method I work with is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). also refer to the sources of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFTB) as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
The therapies listed above allow you to focus on individual experiences and reactions, as well as learn and master the mechanisms of coping with problematic and stressful situations. Their goal is also to acquire and master new skills that facilitate solving and coping with similar challenges in the future.
